THE PERFECT COMPANION DOG SAMSON
(puppy on far right corner) Samson when we rescued him as a cute German Shepherd mix puppy dumped at the shelter. He retrieved right away because he was so smart. We rescued him as a cute little loving 8 week old puppy from the shelter 3 yrs ago, and after 3 sets of shots, dewormings, neuter, microchip, crate training, obedience training and socialization, he found a home in Utah with a couple who pretended to be married. WE delivered him to their home and it seemed to be wonderful, but less than 6 mos. later the Murray Animal Control called us looking for his owner. I found the owner who had moved out from his girlfriend's home and had no place to take Samson and was leaving him outside unattended all day and he was running away. So he asked us to take Samson back. Samson was no longer trained and we had to do lots of training. But then we found a retired single man who promised to keep him for life as his companion. We have seen them many times in the last 3 yrs and he has told us that Samson is the best dog, sleeps with him, goes everywhere in the car with him and stays in his home with him perfectly even when he is gone for hours.
When Linda invited Denise to her daughter's home who just recently adopted Bailey the Basset mix puppy, they all noticed that Samson's right rear leg was really hurting him. Denise rushed him to Brookside Animal Hospital for Dr. Taylor to Xray his leg and hips and see what was wrong. We fear that maybe something happened to Samson in his prior home and he was not given proper medical care. We desperately need Donor Angels to help us with medical costs for Samsons knee surgery. And he needs a loving companion that will let him retire the rest of his life with them. He is really amazing and perfectly housetrained and just wants to follow you all over and lay at your feet. He is very loving, as loyal as a German Shepherd, and the best housedog. Thank you Linda and Rand for fronting the surgery bill until we take in donations to reimburse you. And thank you Linda for helping Samson rehabilitate with you in your lovely home as you rehabilitate from a broken foot too, ride in the car with you, and just have the best treatment in your calm home. We are trying to collect $500 total for all of Samson's costs. Collection boxes are found at Brookside Animal Hospital in West Jordan, 1300 W. 7220 S. and some Davis County Animal Hospitals and Banfield at Petsmart. Any little donation helps, Thank You! THANK YOU PAM FOR ADOPTING HIM AND FLYING DENISE AND SAMSON OUT TO YOUR WONDERFUL HOME.
