SAMSON IS ADOPTED! HE IS THE BEST DOG!  DID YOU SEE HIM AT THE FUR BALL?

                                                                                (puppy on far right corner)

Samson when we rescued him as a cute German Shepherd mix puppy dumped at the shelter. He retrieved right away because he was so smart.

We rescued him as a cute little loving 8 week old puppy from the shelter 3 yrs ago, and after 3 sets of shots, dewormings, neuter, microchip, crate training, obedience training and socialization, he found a home in Utah with a couple who pretended to be married. WE delivered him to their home and it seemed to be wonderful, but less than 6 mos. later the Murray Animal Control called us looking for his owner. I found the owner who had moved out from his girlfriend's home and had no place to take Samson and was leaving him outside unattended all day and he was running away. So he asked us to take Samson back. Samson was no longer trained and we had to do lots of training. But then we found a retired single man who promised to keep him for life as his companion. We have seen them many times in the last 3 yrs and he has told us that Samson is the best dog, sleeps with him, goes everywhere in the car with him and stays in his home with him perfectly even when he is gone for hours.

Samson 10 mos old at adoptions with volunteer from West Jordan Police Department.  He was always so loving and handsome AND EVERYONE FELL IN LOVE WITH THIS BIG TEDDY BEAR.  He was perfectly trained.

Samson 1 yr old at Orem Petco Grand Opening being adopted by 62 year old Raymond who lived alone, brought him into his house to sleep with him, follow him around the house all day, ride everywhere in the car with him, and was the only companion to him until 2.5 years later when the new wife decided to make money breeding purebred German Shepherds and had Raymond buy two purebreds, and threw Samson outside in a dog kennel with just a dog carrier, and now wants Raymond to give him up since "he is not worth anything, but these two purebred German Shepherds are, so we have to keep them, according to the wife."  The Lehi Animal Control Officer called when the wife threatened to "dump Samson on Eagle Mountain,"  and when Raymond refused, then she threatened to take him to the animal shelter, until the officer  got her to agree to wait until Jan 3rd, 2004 and then Samson will be given back to us.  Raymond tried to get his wife to listen to him to allow him to keep his best friend and companion of 3 years, but she will not and he cannot stand up to her he told the officer and our rescue. This is such a sad story.   He is such an easy going and lovable perfect house dog.

I AM CALM, LOVING WITH EVERYONE, GENTLE AND JUST WANT TO LAY AT YOUR FEET ALL DAY. He never jumps up, he is quiet in the house, and this Angel deserves a wonderful loving companion that will make that lifetime commitment. HE LOVES TO JUST LAY AT YOUR FEET IN THE HOUSE, WALK OUTSIDE TO POTTY AND COME BACK IN TO BE WITH YOU. HE JUMPS RIGHT INTO THE EXTRA LARGE CARRIER IN OUR 4 RUNNER AND WALKS RIGHT INTO ONE IN THE HOUSE IF YOU LIKE, BUT HE IS PERFECTLY HOUSE TRAINED AND DOESN'T NEED ONE!  HE DOES EVERYTHING YOU ASK HIM!  YOU CAN'T ASK FOR A BETTER DOG! HE LOVES EVERYONE HE MEETS, GREAT WITH KIDS, DOGS & CATS.  They don't get better than this guy or sweeter.  He has tall legs and most tall dogs need INNERLIGHT'S LL ORTHOPLEX I  Glucosamine (you can order it on our STORE 2 and not only help your dog, but also the rescued dogs) to slow down the degeneration of their hips.  It works great by putting drops under their tongue and it is safe.  It helps prevent any arthritis. Thank you Linda for ordering it and starting him on it.  We  have found Samson the most amazing home, cross your fingers our Angel ( warning the story below will make you cry) Pam you are an Angel:

Denise," I think Sampson will fit right in with us, Buddy is the same way he goes outside and comes right back in he's really just a big goofy dog. We have moved to a new area and have not found a new vet, we took Goldie to 2 different vets she had chronic renal failure and I hope I never have another dog that has to go through that she was only 10 years old. I can get a letter from the trainer and also a letter from Leroy who started voices for pets he is the most unassuming guy I have ever met. The courts are definetly taking animal abuse cases more seriously they underestimated Leroys committment, I have been involved for 6 years.

I had not scrolled down to answer the questions below but I will do that and also answer the 5 pages of the application.

A few years ago we found my uncle a WWII vet ex pow living with no
electricity or running water for over 30 years, he ultimately came to live
with me until he passed away. Eddie loved animals and Buddy and Goldie loved him. I have shared his story www.eddiesplace.org Eddie took care of all the cats and dogs people dumped off over the years; that's one of the wonderful things about animals they do not judge us they give us comfort and expect very little in return. Eddies story gives a name and a face to a tragedy that affects veterans everyday.. yes angels do suffer

Best regards,
Pam

I have to tell you one funny thing about Sampson, I cannot take both dogs for a walk so I take Buddy first because he is older just like I would take Goldie when we had her. WHen I get back Sampson is waiting his turn except he does not want to walk he wants to to go for a ride in the truck. Sampson sits in the front seat even though the back would be more comfortable, he sits like a person looking out the window. I can't believe I do that but he is so happy going for a ride...
take care,
Pam
