SAMPSON

10/22/08I am very sorry to tell you that Sampson passed away on Sunday evening, October 12th at my home. I took him to OSU, on Monday the 13th, and had a necropsy performed because I didn't understand why he died. The necropsy report for Sampson stated that he had advanced cancer - splenic hemangiosarcoma. The tumor was located on his spleen and it burst and the hemoraging caused his death. The report also said the tumor was malignant and had also spread to his liver.

He had brought such wonderful joy to my household and he will be missed.

He is so special - we bought him new toys to chew up and played ball with him everyday. Callie just loves him too, she gave him kisses this morning when we got up. Jennifer was all prepared with crate, bed, new toys, leash and his new tag to add to his tags. Thanks Jennifer for taking in this little angel. We can't wait to get pics with your little girl.
