Please forgive the "group" E-mail, but I want to get the word out as quickly as possible, so that no valuable time is wasted by any rescue worker. Please feel free to cross-post, as I have gotten responses from all over the country!

Peanut is going to rescue! We have a group that is committed to taking her in and are just in the process of working out the details.

On a personal note, I was completely overwhelmed by the response we received from the rescue community. It never fails to amaze me how wonderfully selfless and caring rescue folks are. Words cannot express the gratitude that CCAS and the vet hospital feel toward every one of you who cared! Thank you for the cross-posts, the thoughts and the prayers.
