DOLF is 2.5 yrs. old N.M. Tall and Skinny Wirehaired
Terrier mix little lover. He is house/Crate Trained,
obedience trained, and knows tricks from performing in
Kids Club for two years. He can jump a 5 foot fence and
needs a very responsible, active adult only home.
He is great with kids, dogs and strangers, but very active
and has learned to jump fences and run in his last home.
Training a must. But he is so smart and loving. He is so adorable too.
He needs a foster home soon also.
Thanks Beth for adopting him and getting him into agility with your Border Collie! Thanks Amanda again of Weimaraner rescue and Rebecca for driving him to Beth.  Update 10-16-03 He is starting agility class. He loves his new home.

Dear Denise,

I just wanted to give you an update on Dolf. He has been with us just a few short weeks and he runs this place like he was BORN here! He OWNS that backyard, keeps the cat in her place and gives Rookie a GOOD doggie wrestling workout NUMEROUS times a day. He loves the kids that come to visit and will willing do his "tricks"- even without a treat! We chose to rename him (keeping with the baseball theme that we started with Rookie) and he now answers to Dolf AND Rally. What a wonderful dog! My heartfelt thanks go to Amanda and Rebecca for being his chauffeur. He  DOES like to go for a car ride! My favorite is when he sits and watches TV whenever there is an animal on it! We have to make sure he does not attack the screen! What a RIOT!

I have applied for agiltity class...but they are so full it looks like we wont' get in till after Christmas. In the mean time, even tho he knows his basic sit , I'm enrolling him in an obedience class. This will give us a chance to bond...and to make sure he knows that MOM also means BOSS. I was so pleased with the instructor that taught Rookie's class, I will be returning to her. She uses a clicker method that was SO important to a rescue dog. Rookie had so many issues and fears. The clicker method was all positive....who cannot resist a dehydrated liver treat? (oh well..us HUMANS maybe! I have not met a furbaby who could turn one down!)

I promised pictures...and well ....the batteries are recharging. SOMEONE  ( I know who it is) in my house has used my rechargables and then they DISAPPEAR. I'm down to one set. When they are ready I will send some pictures of the two dogs. They are happy boys and we love having them.
