FROM THEIR TEMPORARY FOSTER MOM:

I really need help and hope you can do a story about this.

Here is the story of Harley & Nanook, they are 2 sweet dalmations that need a good loving home, they have lived with the same family their entire lives, but the family was relocated and the dogs were left behind. They love children because their family had two small children and they seem to love everyone, and even get along with my dog. I answered an ad asking for someone to help these dogs, I have never had a Dalmation and did not know about the negative stigma people have about them and did not know how hard it would be to find homes for them. I can only keep them until Dec. 20th so I must find a home for them by Dec. 20th or else I will have to turn them over to the humane society and the thought of that just breaks my heart, these dogs did not do anything wrong and don't deserve this. If you have a soft spot in your heart for animals and you would help by doing a story on these 2 sweet dogs I could really use some help.
Harley is a female, 7yrs old & spayed, up on all shots and house trained, she is a cuddle baby she likes to put her head on your lap and wants to be where you are, she loves women but is fine with men too, and she is just so sweet natured, she is also very playful and loves to explore when we go on walks.

Nanook is a male 9yrs old & nuetered, up on all shots and house trained, he is so handsome and brite, don't let his age fool you he loves to play and tug of war is his favorite game, he usually wins and brings you back the toy for another round. He is very gentel and sweet, he loves to lay at the foot of my bed and look out the window, he also likes to talk to me and it's very cute.

both dogs were given a clean bill of health by a vet on Nov. 28th 03
